Happy 4th of July – I hope your day is filled with fireworks, food, and fun.

I’d like to share with you photos I took on a trip with friends to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

This tiger wasn’t close to me (maybe thats a good thing?), so I thought this would be a cool shot through the brush.

This was my favorite photo of the entire day.  I took this photo as I was within an arms length from this owl.  I can’t wait for Halloween…  Zooshirts will have you going hoot hoot.  If you’d like a copy of this photo that isn’t reduced to landscape, toss me an email.

We watched the sea lions swim upside down and sideways.  A truly awesome exhibit…  I recommend checking it out under water in the PPG Aquarium’s glass visitor walkthrough.

Did you know? — Polar bears spend 10% of their day in water…
