A few weeks ago I was a special guest at The National Aviary’s birthday party for the rainbow lorikeets. Here are a few photos from the event, courtesy of the National Aviary in Pittsburgh.

This is the first Thursday Recap Tweetcap from Twitter. The Thursday Tweetcap is a Tweet & Comment sort-o-thing’. I write about and show some of my favorite Tweets and Tweople. Ah… as long as I don’t start speaking to people in person with a “tw” at the beginning of each word. Here it is ladies and gentlemen, flamingos and gorillas…
Let’s start off with the most recent Tweets…

Damon is one of the freshest new followers of our brand. He totally repped us like Reptar.

Bob and his family have supported us since the start. An extremely talented Programmer and Designer.

Phil is like you, but way cooler… Check out his blog URL on his Twitter page.

The Lowry Park Zoo was voted #1 by Parents Magazine.

Maria runs a pretty sweet blog and thinks we have a nice Twitter layout

The New England Aquarium is awesome! I went to Boston and visited their aquarium this summer. I took some really cool video and photographs (see earlier blog posts). Make it your next trip.

Anyone can have a favorite animal. Anyone can have a favorite Zooshirt. Tim likes monkeys.

Yes, I think BIBLINSKI BIBLINSKI BIBLINSKI could start some conservations too.

My man Tim! Very nice e-mail pal of mine. He supports our brand all the way from Germany!

Thanks Alan — cheery fellow who often retweets some of my humor.

Valarie was the first person I connected with on Twitter. She is indeed FRESH MINT.

Roger is your camp counselor. Perhaps he is a Photoshop guru.

On Saturday, July 18, I celebrated the birthday of the Lories and Friends exhibit at The National Aviary in Pittsburgh, PA. I had a great time and raised donations for The National Aviary by face-painting kids! I must’ve painted over sixty kids — and boy were they happy when they got their face-paint treat, a rainbow themed (after the Lorikeets) cupcake. Delicious. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us and special thanks to all who helped coordinate this successful event. Enjoy the photos below. Swing by their gift shop and pick up a Zooshirt too if you happen to visit!

Joe from the Highly Recommended clothing company tossed me some slick pictures he took while at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa Bay, Florida. This great zoo (Voted #1 in the US by Parents Magazine) is in the news a lot lately, and you may have noticed I tweet often about them. Check out the Lowry Park Zoo online by visiting: http://www.lowryparkzoo.com. Enjoy the photos, and as always if you’d like to get featured (with wildlife related media), send me an email nick@zooshirts.com.
