Story
Established in the summer of 2008, Zooshirts is the wildlife-oriented, eco-friendly clothing line that supports animal and global conservation. By using organic cotton and recycled materials, Zooshirts reduces the impact clothing production makes on the environment. Every product is given individual attention, quality assured, and printed by hand in the USA.
Release YOUR Inner Animalâ„¢I officially started Zooshirts in the summer of 2008 — and a joke-turned-success allowed me to become the Zebra Man.
Through word of mouth, I’ve connected with people like you — to gain your support with animal and global conservation. I share with you my passion, persistance, and motivation — I didn’t sit around waiting for things to happen — the only person who can do anything for you is yourself. Anyone can have a favorite animal — mine is the Zebra. Whats yours? Get your Zooshirts on and strut your stripes at your local zoo, aquarium, or aviary. Animal and Global ConservationWe donated 10% of sales from our start in June 2008 to February 2009 — to organizations that support wildlife around the world. We’re now looking to find the best organization(s) to donate 10% of our sales from March 2009 to the present — and are currently discussing Commercial Membership with national organizations that supports zoos, aquariums, and wildlife conservation. |
Meet the Zebra-ManAt 15, instead of watching MTV like most kids, I self-taught myself how to design websites and clothing. In the summer when I was 16, I worked at a local print shop as a Graphic Designer. I thought the title was pretty cool, considering I had no college degree. After designing hundreds of t-shirts for local schools, bands, and companies, I decided it was time I started something of my own.
Served by NB was my first clothing venture. With three designs, I sold out of only one — The (now vintage) Giraffe t-shirt (only twenty printed!). It caught attention — as everywhere I went, people wanted to know how they could get their hands on one. A lot of kids said it seemed like a parody of the “Badger Badger” viral videos. |
